The FA Walking Football Cup
Winning Never Gets Old
We are delighted to announce that we are staging a local qualifying event for the FA National Walking Football Cup.
Taking place on Sunday 11th August 2024 at the University of Hull this is your opportunity to take to the field in the FA's first ever national Walking Football tournament.
The event will be split into two distinct age categories which are 50+ and 60+ with mixed participation permitted.
All local qualifying events will be played under the FA Laws of Walking Football with the following modifications:
Format: 6V6 with 5 named substitute's permitted
Duration of games: Between 12 - 20 minutes depending on the number of teams participating
Substitutions: Unlimited
Number of touches a player can have: Unlimited
The winners of the local qualifying cup will then go on to represent the County in the regional qualifiers which are set to take place in September with the finals scheduled to be played in November.
The cost for entering the cup is just £25 and all participating teams must be affiliated to the East Riding FA.
