East Riding FA Awards

The East Riding FA Awards aim to recognise those clubs and individuals in our county who are going above and beyond to create fun, safe and inclusive environment for people to play and enjoy football.

Split into three categories the awards give you the chance to nominate individuals, clubs and leagues for the work they do.

The East Riding FA Awards are for people and clubs who make a positive difference. It’s our way to celebrate the fantastic individuals who put their heart and soul into the grassroots game across East Riding – and say a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers and clubs who inspire us all.

Our grassroots football volunteers have adapted to the ever changing football landscape and have come back stronger, more resilient and more innovative. They respond quickly to make football happen when they could. And when they kept players, volunteers and the wider community connected off the pitch.

The Clubs and Volunteers in our county have demonstrated the true power of football, they stuck together, helped each other across teams, across clubs and showed what the football community could do when faced with uncertainty and an unparalleled situation.

How to make nominations

Individuals are nominated by someone else (not themselves), while anyone involved in a club can nominate their own club. The nomination is going to mean so much to the person, club or league receiving it. They are going to feel like a winner in the eyes of their peers or players.

When selecting your nominations, think about all the roles in grassroots football. Think about who’s impressed you, who’s really made a difference, and how they made that positive impact happen.
