Investment in East Riding
Since its conception in 2000, thanks to funding from the Premier League, FA and DCMS, the Football Foundation are delivering quality sports facilities that are transforming lives and communities across the country.
From the roots up, every grant makes a difference. Great places to play mean more opportunities for more people to enjoy all the benefits of playing sport and getting active. The figures below show the level of investment into East Riding.
We’re proud of these numbers but we’re far from done yet. Please get in touch (link back to contact page) for more information.
WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION?
Within East Riding we have over 100 grass pitches and 32 3G Artificial Grass Pitches (all sizes) available to support clubs and community groups with this managed by a number of different providers. Whilst the information regularly changes it should provide sufficient information to help you find the facilities you need.
You can find details of local facilities at www.Pitchfinder.org.uk You can use this to find details of the number and type of pitches at each site, their location in relation to other facilities and contact details.
An sanctioned match play should only take place on an artificial grass pitch which is on the FA’s 3G Pitch Register.
The Register can be viewed at Football Foundation | 3G Pitch Register Click on your county and you will see a list of sites. The position of each site in relation to whether they are currently on the register or their certificate has expired is shown.
